V/H/S filmposter looks kind of familiar

I think most of you will agree that the filmposter of V/H/S is a really cool one. Tons of VHS tapes and the ones with a date sticker on them form a skull alltogether. Very nice idea and definately suitable for the film in my opinion.

However, taking a few glances at the poster made me realize it somewhat resembles a movie poster of an old horror film from like mid eighties or something, called Visiting Hours.

Although the movies are TOTALLY different, I'm curious if you agree with me the posters lookalike somewhat (well at least the sull) Check the comparison:
